Mount Prospect is located in the northwest suburban area of Chicago, approximately 26 miles from the city, and only 6 miles from O’Hare International Airport.  The town is bordered by Des Plaines, Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights, and Elk Grove Village.  The population of Mount Prospect is approximately 56,000 people from many different ethnic backgrounds.  The town has numerous excellent public and private schools as well as a strong base of both retail and professional businesses.
